Ievgen Skyrda
Ievgen’s system comes from a long competitive life in judo, Sport Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He began developing grapplers in Kropyvnytskyi in 2011 and received his BJJ black belt in 2019 through Zé Radiola and Max Carvalho. The academy now connects Sambo, freestyle wrestling, BJJ and modern physical preparation into one competition method.

Ievgen built BORETS in Kropyvnytskyi and leads the coaching thinking behind BORETS LAB.
A grappling base, not a style cult
His route into BJJ came through judo and sambo. That foundation still shapes how the team connects standing exchanges, transitions, control, and submissions.
BJJ black belt
A black belt since 2019, Skyrda studied under Max Carvalho and was profiled by BJJ Heroes as part of ZR Team's international squad.
Built at real scale
By January 2021, BJJ Heroes reported the Kropyvnytskyi program at around 800 students—a historical marker of the system's reach in a city far from the sport's traditional centers.
Athlete before résumé
The selection standard is work ethic, mindset, and character. Existing titles matter less than the athlete's willingness to learn and contribute.
