What we collect
For contact messages, this may include your name, email, optional WhatsApp number, organization, location, reason for writing, message and links you choose to share. For publication updates, we store your email address, language, selected area of interest, signup source, consent record and an anonymous referral code.
Please do not submit medical records, payment-card data, passwords, confidential third-party information or footage you do not have permission to share.
Why we use it
We use contact data to route and answer your message, prevent spam and maintain an internal record of the conversation. We use subscription data only to send the free BORETS Briefing and updates you requested, measure which signup sources work and let you invite another reader. We do not sell personal data or use it for unrelated advertising.
Privacy-minded site analytics
We measure page views, anonymous visitors and sessions, referral sources, campaign tags, device category, country or region, reading engagement and actions such as YouTube, Instagram or subscription clicks. This helps us understand which training content is useful and whether the site is doing its job. We do not store raw IP addresses, advertising IDs or cross-site tracking profiles.
A random visitor identifier is kept in first-party local storage and a separate session identifier is kept in session storage. They contain no name, email or contact data. Clear this site's browser storage to reset them. If your browser sends the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, our analytics script does not collect these events.
Where it goes
Messages and subscriptions are stored in BORETS LAB's protected database. A message copy may be delivered to our team inbox through an email-delivery provider. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process the data only as needed to operate the site.
How long we keep it
We keep messages only for as long as they remain useful for the stated purpose, our records or legal obligations. A subscription remains active until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Unsubscribed records may be retained in a suppression list so we can respect the request and avoid sending again by mistake.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw consent for future contact. Email skborec@ukr.net. We may need to verify the request before acting.
Security and international processing
No internet service is risk-free. We use access controls and avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive data. Because BORETS LAB is based in Ukraine and serves an international audience, inquiry data may be processed outside your country.
Changes
We may update this notice when the site, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change when the update is material.
