Evidence before velocity

We prefer an official rulebook, governing body, promotion, athlete, coach, event result, study, or direct document. A single anonymous claim is not a publishable fact. When only one credible source exists, the article says so.

Useful to the room

Our editorial lens is the athlete and coach: rules, preparation, tactics, recovery, competition operations, development systems, and decisions that change training. Fight promotion can earn attention, but practical context earns trust.

Fact, analysis, and prediction stay separate

Reported facts carry source links. Coaching interpretation is labelled as analysis. Predictions are arguments, never inside information or guarantees, and are updated when the underlying facts change.

Original synthesis, not rewritten noise

BORETS LAB does not copy articles or manufacture volume by swapping words. A brief must add a clear summary, source trail, athlete-facing meaning, and a reason it belongs in our grappling and combat-sports coverage.

A defined editorial scope

We do not cover Russia-centered events, Russian state institutions or promotions, or publish promotional profiles of public figures who have publicly supported Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. This is a relevance and editorial-values decision, never an inference based on ethnicity or rumor. When the public evidence is unclear, we do not publish.

Evergreen quality before daily volume

Our first publishing phase builds durable guides across wrestling, MMA, Sambo, Judo, BJJ, grappling, and physical preparation. News automation remains opt-in. When it expands, ten briefs in a UTC day is a hard ceiling—not a quota.

Commercial support never buys the conclusion

Sponsored work is disclosed clearly. A partner may help make a useful film, event story, or athlete project possible, but cannot purchase a ranking, hidden link, guaranteed praise, or unsupported performance claim.

Automation disclosure

The system can move quickly. The rules do not move.

Automated systems may monitor public sources, use xAI search to detect early signals on X, use web search for confirmation, transcribe BORETS LAB videos, deduplicate stories, organize evidence, and prepare clearly identified Intelligence Desk briefings. These tools run on the server; credentials are never exposed to the reader. Automated daily news publication is disabled during the evergreen-library launch phase.

Automation never lowers the sourcing threshold. The workflow is not permitted to invent quotes, imply access it did not have, conceal uncertainty, or turn medical and safety topics into individualized advice. Every factual briefing must preserve its source trail, publication time, update time, and distinction between reporting and BORETS LAB analysis. Material updates change the page timestamp; substantive corrections are noted in the article.

Corrections

Send the article URL, the disputed statement, and supporting evidence to skborec@ukr.net. We review the underlying source trail and correct material errors without silently erasing the change.
